The Critique Cafe ~ Why Submit to the Show?

The idea of The Image Critique Show is to help you prepare for image competitions.

Well, actually, its designed to help you learn the little details of composition, color balance, cropping, story telling and many more details that will help you score higher in image competitions.

Wait. That's not the whole truth . . . we hope that by being a follower of the show you will become a better photographer overall. That's our goal. To do what we can, share with you what has made us successful over the years and hopefully to make you a better photographic artist.

"Weathered" - Rick Avalos

Personal experience tells us that watching image competitions and chatting with other accomplished photographers has made Rick and I much better photographers and image makers and has built up our confidence tremendously.

Make Friends with Other Seasoned Photographers

Don't just take our word for it. Get to know many other seasoned photographers. Take what you will from each and mold your style into something unique. While it's true that copying from another photographer is a way to learn, add your own touch along the way! Make it personal and you too will create your own unique style.

Watch Other Image Competitions

Nowadays, many image competitions are available for us to enjoy and learn from. Many of these allow us to enter our own images as well. Become a member of PrintCompetition.com and experience first hand what we are talking about. We are so excited for you!
